I almost suggested "Jack", but that's my dog's name. He was named by someone else and I kept it because when I think of a story about a dog that I loved reading, it would have to be "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London, and "Jack" just sounded like an appropriate homage to the author and the dog he brought to life.

@Rick - The movement of the Church in America away from this joker and his ilk is increasing at an exponential rate. In the same way our parents rallied with Jerry Fallwell to be a part of the "Moral Majority" in the 80's, our generation has had it with political christianists. We want REAL... spirituality, communion, fellowship and for these self-important windbags to... well, go away.
@Phillip - Unfair? Mr. Dobson preaches HATE. I've read the Bible several times and Jesus didn't hate anyone. As for the level of defamation that is heaped upon them, they brought it down on their own heads when they left the selfless truth of the gospel for whatever they have that says its ok to have multi-million dollar airplanes, homes, etc. when they could conceivably see the poor, sick and hurting from their office window.
Discounting the good he's done?? Well, I would imagine one could find the GOOD in Stalin, Hitler, Dahmer, etc. Before you accuse me of over-reaching, Dobson/Robertson/Falwell have all done good... how can they be allowed to sweep their arrogant use of their talents under the rug?

Your unfair caricature of James Dobson begs a similar question of you. Not are you queer, but are you a tad self-righteous. Its reprehensible that Christian leaders are fair game for a level of defamation that would not be tolerated if done to any other social, religious, or political group. I've read his material. He believes homosexuality is a sin and is treatable.

I don't know about the questionnaire, but if its treatable, then to some degree it is predictable like any other abnormality. What is also troubling is how Christians are so insecure as to feel the need to so often state, I'm not like... (JameS Dobson, Oral Roberts... ) but I believe... Why should Christians, have to disavow or join in humiliating leaders who have done more good than you or I are ever likely to do. Just because they have flaws?

The idea that homosexuality is inborn is far from established science.
