1) What was I doing 10 yrs ago?

1998? I was working for KSRV (it was a country station back then) in Ontario, OR. I hosted the Morning show by ‘98. One of the memories that springs to mind: I was serving as ‘Substitute Pastor’ for a small rural church. One of the church ladies heard a pre-recorded comedy bit on my show. Apparently Roy D. Mercer was not her ‘cup o’ tea’. She called the district and complained about my questionable morals (if only she knew). That ended up being the last time I ever filled a pulpit in an Assemblies of God church.

2) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order):

1. Think of going to church — didn’t go
2. Take the kids swimming — 2 hours of bliss
3. Catch up on the Google Reader — Check
4. Post something — Doing it now
5. Get some stuff together for errands tomorrow (day off) — kinda did.

3) Snacks I enjoy:

Orville Redenbacher’s 100-calorie Smart-Pop and the cross i have to bear… Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

1. Pay off all my debts
2. Pay off the debts of my immediate family (in-laws included)
3. Endow trust’s so that ALL of my kids and my nieces and nephews can go to any college they want
4. Endow a scholarship at Northwest for C average students who aren’t involved up the wazoo in all those ‘looks good on the resume’ clubs.
5. I would become Oregon State University’s Sugar Daddy in the spirit of Phil Knight.
6. Buy one of these
7. Give $5 million to the Presidential Candidate that grows a set and says what we NEED to hear.

5) Three of my bad habits:

1. Spending time online instead of with my family.
2. Driving a bit too aggressively.
3. Becoming obsessive with my current obsession.
