Absolutely AMAZING!
That’s the phrase that came out of my mouth several times while watching the Colorado Rockies play flawless baseball over the last 3 weeks. The series with the Diamondbacks wrapped up last night in the same way that each of the last 21 games have, with the Rockies playing the game the way it was meant to be played. For the first time in many years, I think the National League might have a chance to win the World Series.
During the Divisional Series I made my picks for the Fall Classic. That decision was based on the thought that the Blake Street Bomberswere a flash in the pan, a fluke of the Wild Card system put in place in 1995. But keep in mind, the World Champs have been a Wild Card team four times since it was instituted (Marlins ‘97, Angels ‘02, Marlins ‘03, BoSox ‘04).
I still think that Colorado will run into a buzz saw when they meet in Boston (fingers crossed) next Wednesday (the Sox in 6**). But Todd Helton and his crew are going to give us all a GREAT reason to stay up late to watch a ballgame!
** If Boston doesn’t make it… Colorado sweeps the Tribe.

I don’t know, man. Colorado really seems to be on an absolute roll. I don’t know if anybody will beat them this year. Maybe their humidor will break or something.
John,
Didn’t the NL team win it all last year?
I don’t think the Sox are going to the series either.
